Back into the swing of things.

So I took a couple hours and actually cleared a 12x12 spot for me to work in my creative space yesterday. Since hubby is doing renos most of his stuff has ended up in my space. Anyway, now that i have a bit of room i can get back to crafting. It's just that kinda day here too...kinda gray and rainy. Perfect.
This card was made for a challenge on another blog. The Play Date Cafe. The challenge was Black and white with pop of orange. I never really do black and white cards so i must admit this was a challenge...but i enjoyed it :)

Here's another card i made today:

I used basic cardstock for most of it. The red section is from basic grey, the paper roses are graphic 45. I used my CB to emboss the blue then hit it with silver sugar glimmer mist. The scallops are yellow layered with vellum and the colors are much brighter in person. It's been kinda icky here today, so to get a shot with decent light was a little difficult.

Thanks for checking in guys...have a good one :)
Happy crafting!
Cass.
