Wow! Over a month since i've updated this blog....do i ever stink at this lol!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">These are the two LO's i've recently finished for our LSS design team. They gave me lots of echo park playground fun. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">One of our boys recently lost a bunch of teeth. I always get a kick out of his little toothless smile. It was begging to be scrapped :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDaNwo0LtZOF-FFaGXaQscyPCd65C1aYpsfMG5nXfx4Hw0vqHNa0z2UexLJgnu7VuDORVsGrqatbkXHg2M6IOJgU95CxT3pvik9w2gO8Inf80QcVcYfcMeuFpyIfC3n95zGC2hw8NXtaye/s1600/April+2011+002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="600" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDaNwo0LtZOF-FFaGXaQscyPCd65C1aYpsfMG5nXfx4Hw0vqHNa0z2UexLJgnu7VuDORVsGrqatbkXHg2M6IOJgU95CxT3pvik9w2gO8Inf80QcVcYfcMeuFpyIfC3n95zGC2hw8NXtaye/s640/April+2011+002.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And amidst all the rain and cold damp weather we did have at least one warm sunny day. The boys seized the opportunity to sport their superhero get-ups and keep our yard safe. I really like this LO. All in all i really enjoyed working with this line. Very colorful and versatile :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

I ran it through my cuttlebug using the floral fantasy folder. I inked it with broken china, chipped sapphire and walnut stain is certain places. The top panel was done the same way but i used shabby shutters, crushed olive and again walnut stain to age it a little bit.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">The cut piece under my sentiment is from the winter lace cricut cartridge. I rubbed some platnium stickles on top of it ( accidently while it was sitting on my sentiment but i like the outcome lol ) to give it a bit of shine.</div>Thanks for checking it out...hope everyone has a great week. Hopefully i'll get a chance to make a couple things in the next couple days but time will tell.<br />
See ya soon.<br />

Isn't it time for spring yet? That being said, spring defenitly became my inspiration for todays card.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlnjzF2kes-JRwgYV6iDIudDRFD-h_0xMlw1WZzT6qHHJ1mcjd1w74kgiiqOvSASkPw0Skr0jIF8zoG6H9tbPP5HVkbx2duJichxOVvIUvD07YIeTPXeGhhVCbyMuAlzukbTIAL2i0ChkC/s1600/100_1933.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlnjzF2kes-JRwgYV6iDIudDRFD-h_0xMlw1WZzT6qHHJ1mcjd1w74kgiiqOvSASkPw0Skr0jIF8zoG6H9tbPP5HVkbx2duJichxOVvIUvD07YIeTPXeGhhVCbyMuAlzukbTIAL2i0ChkC/s640/100_1933.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> I started by making my base card with kraft cardstock. Used the pyrus line from Basic grey onece again and matted it with white. I used my nestabilites circles for both circles. For the large I sponged shabby shutters, peeled paint for the grass left a little space and then used faded jeans and stormy sky. I took some bleach on my brush and made a little cloud in the sky then took my liquid pearls for a melty snow look. ( i can hope right? )<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDtRGYw10uiidLqk6Gbs7DnMjeaGvla1_jDQrMTtKTxTtZjPeYQX4kzhkDclr9bUK_dBTDw1KPBtTWcKwCyGT_PIep6tr5WtLK8KT58pUCJQhyphenhyphenPUvNcW7V7Ki_sEtSBDRi7_qL7n_jchZ4/s1600/100_1934.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDtRGYw10uiidLqk6Gbs7DnMjeaGvla1_jDQrMTtKTxTtZjPeYQX4kzhkDclr9bUK_dBTDw1KPBtTWcKwCyGT_PIep6tr5WtLK8KT58pUCJQhyphenhyphenPUvNcW7V7Ki_sEtSBDRi7_qL7n_jchZ4/s400/100_1934.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I pulled out my "stretch your imagination" cricut cartridge and cut my tree then used a Martha stewart punch for the little blossoms. The pink in the middle is a soft pink liquid pearls.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXySG7iLFd20l3WoJFw4wfzfmDHXrJaDIBWiU-r5RTqizmJMPt6Kpssd9Iwk_lAmJmhOhVxZ1VjDh2CFPJjNzXF2IjDSRF90XdvpGazZA1XenxRuq79ig_iCR_Mkd6HPgPNYFjQM15Vit/s1600/100_1935.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgNXySG7iLFd20l3WoJFw4wfzfmDHXrJaDIBWiU-r5RTqizmJMPt6Kpssd9Iwk_lAmJmhOhVxZ1VjDh2CFPJjNzXF2IjDSRF90XdvpGazZA1XenxRuq79ig_iCR_Mkd6HPgPNYFjQM15Vit/s400/100_1935.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>The little birds and the sentiment were stamps i found in the $ bin at michaels. The nest i just affixed some raffia to some cardstock with sticky strip and touched it up with some walnut stain.<br />
Anyway, that's it for today. Thanks for stopping by. <br />
Have a great day :)<br />

In all honesty this isn't my favorite card. I found the whole time i was trying to finish it new ideas kept popping into my head making it incredibly hard to stay on track and stay focused lol. Ever have that problem?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivN_7poMpKAzzgB447crKWZxCPOOKN5XcVTMgXneRoroip6RLSWTpAJSBmxr4WxFZYK6ckSuSmEMpz-xuKE37JKaSiG2cpnrhroFy6ewGNgrkUv5WH4ODo2h9-Vz40s9foeb3QorEkeQhg/s1600/100_1925.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivN_7poMpKAzzgB447crKWZxCPOOKN5XcVTMgXneRoroip6RLSWTpAJSBmxr4WxFZYK6ckSuSmEMpz-xuKE37JKaSiG2cpnrhroFy6ewGNgrkUv5WH4ODo2h9-Vz40s9foeb3QorEkeQhg/s640/100_1925.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjn73mqcCRoy1psQFkUY65u5dUPTL_NTuaQyRC8Umw04JeUeZIL9Iih4p0y-maD_mFJEzEvfSI8NbKh4xhC3BNyJ_0VqcAPY8sCw7SwkYiC0jNuSqBSa702cC6YUfWE4N92DwZo_Lj_amsV/s1600/100_1926.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjn73mqcCRoy1psQFkUY65u5dUPTL_NTuaQyRC8Umw04JeUeZIL9Iih4p0y-maD_mFJEzEvfSI8NbKh4xhC3BNyJ_0VqcAPY8sCw7SwkYiC0jNuSqBSa702cC6YUfWE4N92DwZo_Lj_amsV/s320/100_1926.JPG" width="320" /></a></div> Here's a close-up of the sentiment. I used my nesties for the different circles. The color doesn't seem to show up as well as i'd hoped. It's a dark teal sorta color.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFlepYJc9ptDpvpzWzR1EdJzg-xROizjsS3wcjzya2VvOuihxibLesKAW7WeE42k4yZpgOK5Mzri0ZAAwGyl84tGmcBfVNUJ-PLMQhz53rF-qWKQeKvXZ0h0UNuehZdZoX4vL3RWFnFlv1/s1600/100_1927.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFlepYJc9ptDpvpzWzR1EdJzg-xROizjsS3wcjzya2VvOuihxibLesKAW7WeE42k4yZpgOK5Mzri0ZAAwGyl84tGmcBfVNUJ-PLMQhz53rF-qWKQeKvXZ0h0UNuehZdZoX4vL3RWFnFlv1/s320/100_1927.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And here's a close-up of my handmade roses. I must say...that's the only part i like lol. The flowers and the little butterfly are my favorite :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">And I decided to stroll outside my comfort zone a wee bit too today. I tried to make something a little more masculine. My Dad has been dealing with some pretty heavy stuff lately so I'll probably send this one to him. The stamp set is from flourishes. It's called <a href="http://rjnx9.ut464.servertrust.com/A_Guiding_Light_p/ss111.htm">a guiding light</a>. I colored it with distress inks and used my brush with some bleach to do the white tones. If anyone has any tips on the lighthouse beam i'd love to hear them. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7xQbES4SoqMc_DiwFPapPe2ntGfRfqJM4ME0J4ZRsWsQWY1zkxosyEpDz-uaizah5X4EZXH8QX8UDN8TGduIkWE_Vqj_knZM2dVWcZ90Wdh8DmDIR6TFQRgpgCJoVfpfey61xi97Cx_uB/s1600/100_1928.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi7xQbES4SoqMc_DiwFPapPe2ntGfRfqJM4ME0J4ZRsWsQWY1zkxosyEpDz-uaizah5X4EZXH8QX8UDN8TGduIkWE_Vqj_knZM2dVWcZ90Wdh8DmDIR6TFQRgpgCJoVfpfey61xi97Cx_uB/s400/100_1928.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br />

Not really sure how I feel about it just yet. I played around with my prismacolor markers with this one. I love em...so much fun :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">The center flower is the only part popped off the card. The flower stamp I used is from a company called "<a href="http://www.outlinesrubberstamp.com/">Outlines</a>" and the paper again is basic greys pyrus.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimPAvcMGBvMWAdtb7a3qcFhPTsi0NiqBHR8tLRJiXGgaioqtC5ywxXRc4zeTJD3qFi-D0U1CSDzC3kvGxRX4UgExUEYz38YtaL52LyU8AzGHCkxY1gaJnzM3A1hildsvYt4XUPixeJY-tn/s1600/100_1932.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" l6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEimPAvcMGBvMWAdtb7a3qcFhPTsi0NiqBHR8tLRJiXGgaioqtC5ywxXRc4zeTJD3qFi-D0U1CSDzC3kvGxRX4UgExUEYz38YtaL52LyU8AzGHCkxY1gaJnzM3A1hildsvYt4XUPixeJY-tn/s320/100_1932.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thanks for stopping by. I was fortunate enough to get to work with Basic Grey's new Pyrus line. To be honest when I first seen it all that really came to mind was a resounding "meh" but now that i've worked with it...i'm a fan :)<br />
I only managed to get one card done out of the five I have to do...but here are some pics. I'll be posting some more cards over the next few days.<br />

<br />
Hi everybody :)<br />
I was awarded the Stylish Blogger Award from a sweet lady, Maria! Thank you so much :) How exciting...my first one :) In order to accept this award, I needed to list eight things all of you do not know about me. Also, I needed to pass this award onto eight people. Thanks again Maria...i'm touched :)<br />
<br />
1. I would love to learn to knit. I've tried many, many...many times....so if there's someone out there with boat loads of patience looking for a challenge...i'm your girl lol.<br />
2.All my dishes need to match. It drives me crazy when my plates and bowls and cups are all mismatched. Hopefully that's not just me.<br />
3.I'm an only child.<br />
4. I love doing laundry. Seriously. Something about the smell of a fresh load of laundry makes me happy :)<br />
5. I've never really liked chocolate.<br />
6. I need coffee first thing in the morning in order to be a pleasant person.<br />
7. My favorite color is green.<br />
8. I have one dog ( Annie) and 1 cat (scraps). <br />

I was given the glorious task of coming up with an idea for a tea party invite for 18 little girls. Seeing as i have two little boys...getting the chance to do girly things is just heavenly ;)<br />
Here's the cards i came up with. I figured i'd let them choose which they prefer. A little variety never hurts right?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdI0UKkWfPKbsR4jybsNt3ndsnTpc2h-3WeF1nVkV9ftfSjGMrSweqQBeuSO3mA3Ce7IsFRudmSOPRQ5ek7BNInlqUE4Wj_7LsUpdHkhgB1oAby3G-SsYku3fnLhNHkcRDevG0dsrhwcbe/s1600/100_1824.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" j6="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdI0UKkWfPKbsR4jybsNt3ndsnTpc2h-3WeF1nVkV9ftfSjGMrSweqQBeuSO3mA3Ce7IsFRudmSOPRQ5ek7BNInlqUE4Wj_7LsUpdHkhgB1oAby3G-SsYku3fnLhNHkcRDevG0dsrhwcbe/s400/100_1824.JPG" width="400" /></a>Option1</div><br />

The raised piece I cute a border piece with my cricut machine using the storybook cartridge and used it as a mask. I sponged spun sugar distress ink with some purple pigment inks then aged it with a bit of vintage photo. I recently bought this stamp set from walmart for $1 and it's from autumn leaves. So i embossed that then used bleach in certain spots to lighten it. I alose bleached around the edges with my brush just to make it stand out from the matting a little more. The hearts are all cut using the george cartridge and the silver ones i ran through my cuttlebug. Finished with some red ribbon and I think i managed to encompass all the colors :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Thanks for checkin it out. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Wow....i've been so busy and I was shocked to see my last post was in October...that's just awful lol.<br />
I have started a page on Etsy where I have my cards available for sale. <br />
Here's the link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/CassieN?ref=pr_shop <br />
I also have been doing some custom orders. That, combined with kids being sick and all the wonderful other things that come along with this time of year...time is flying by :)<br />
Here are a few of my latest creations. As always i'd love to hear your feedback.<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQmQGq8IP1RqZMREMiCeRU1cK3YFRebiiYIE6ednhgdbCXuMIDH2Z1C-U9nOL1cKyFiYxyaZzoFmVFSyuT8fj0D75H_t09KLINdMfMOw0pfpPYvrWF8rlbkLqyb6MjF1pCLzaInsqiChGd/s1600/101_1667.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" s5="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiQmQGq8IP1RqZMREMiCeRU1cK3YFRebiiYIE6ednhgdbCXuMIDH2Z1C-U9nOL1cKyFiYxyaZzoFmVFSyuT8fj0D75H_t09KLINdMfMOw0pfpPYvrWF8rlbkLqyb6MjF1pCLzaInsqiChGd/s640/101_1667.JPG" width="640" /></a><br />
I so rarely seem to get the chance to scrapbook. I was thrilled with how this page turned out. In person it's very sparkly. The snow flakes along the border strip are embossed with irrdescent powders and highlighted with stickles. ( gotta love glitter in any shape or form.) Maybe that's why i enjoy winter LO's. I can use glitter with pics of my boys and it doesn't seem wierd :) The punched snowflakes are a combination of punches and dies i've collected along the way. I think the larger is Martha stewart and the smaller are all cuttlebug dies. My favorite part on the whole LO is the snow on the title. I was sooooo happy how it came out :) I seen someone else do it...can't remember who so I won't take credit for the idea...but i used my liquid pearls and gooped it on there and voila...looks just like snow.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE7MosWNSvbmsE69gvJk7kAcJn9pfDFWWzWZ8EBAO8j0QozWvqw9E9nPUnN2b_5_L8fdz6q-XoUg8-Z47s-6Y2rmu4ZPZfUzWyPtdPp3IFPNDKLaZ8ztcqyk3cTttkz9UttEIWKn8K42wk/s1600/101_1718.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" s5="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE7MosWNSvbmsE69gvJk7kAcJn9pfDFWWzWZ8EBAO8j0QozWvqw9E9nPUnN2b_5_L8fdz6q-XoUg8-Z47s-6Y2rmu4ZPZfUzWyPtdPp3IFPNDKLaZ8ztcqyk3cTttkz9UttEIWKn8K42wk/s400/101_1718.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>I was really happy with this card. I did a custom version of it for a friend using dark purple. I looked so elegant. For some reason I can't seem to get it to load on to this page so here's a link if you're curious :)<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><a href="http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/187183/view/3087451/-1/1.html">http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/187183/view/3087451/-1/1.html</a> It's a link to SB.com with my gallery as well. The patterned paper is Basic Grey from the Capella collection. A beautiful collection a papers btw. I made the little rosettes by hand and cut the foil with my cuttlebug corner die. The foil was a gift from my MIL. I'm liking and using it much more than i thought i would originally.</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzMM9RGoUQvvcQuPx4cTtqObTb1nPH2Gfk2IIiWLrpEGIPxb8uwh-Y0U5uJUD7EME8Mvh-tj9tNP2Wlby60kcjSyYK8Qb523LN0EpkF3z513rVI9K0NJpjkMcYq15EDqkKJ4_yusFGwTwD/s1600/101_1716.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" s5="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjzMM9RGoUQvvcQuPx4cTtqObTb1nPH2Gfk2IIiWLrpEGIPxb8uwh-Y0U5uJUD7EME8Mvh-tj9tNP2Wlby60kcjSyYK8Qb523LN0EpkF3z513rVI9K0NJpjkMcYq15EDqkKJ4_yusFGwTwD/s400/101_1716.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>A friend of mine also had a baby girl this month. This card was a lot of fun to make. I have a wierd thing for buttons. Just seems to go with babies :) The patterned paper is from the Que sera collection (love) and the stork is a digital stamp which i just colored in with my blender pen.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqiRk4xjHa46t2bn74xlzjAojv-1sMM8cLpIhLKKiobhHxVRZ4jXynOfeBDkYBMPRE24xZO8cdpjiiaXSaVSjsAbb-axSgVSNOiiVYtlXCe5VWRhBBG0Zr1PPCKdFwNmhsXUAHutfDS3qT/s1600/101_1715.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" s5="true" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqiRk4xjHa46t2bn74xlzjAojv-1sMM8cLpIhLKKiobhHxVRZ4jXynOfeBDkYBMPRE24xZO8cdpjiiaXSaVSjsAbb-axSgVSNOiiVYtlXCe5VWRhBBG0Zr1PPCKdFwNmhsXUAHutfDS3qT/s400/101_1715.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>And last but not least I don't think you can ever really have too many thank you cards. So here's one I made just using scraps from my stash. I used my cuttlebug Olivia die to cut the "thanks" and my spellbinders die for the label.<br />

TOday I decided was a good day to start up with blog challenges and stuff. I feel like i got a lot accomplished :) First i had a sketch for Mojo Monday. <a href="http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2010/07/mojo-monday-147.html">MOJO147</a>. Such a fun sketch :) and it doubles as my entry for the <a href="http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/wednesday-inspiration-208">weekly inspiration challenge at Stamptv.</a><br />The second card i finished today was for the <a href="http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/tuesday-sketch-challenge-7">weekly sketch challenge also at stamptv.</a><br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgWAjCjvDHKMpDXTGMXAtxY83YaDgY5K2ThDHdoe28Mc_Plxgfc2JStgeUzTfeCO3xmIfyNtx3YFr5jjW43W0uJwmwti94JPvzHehCTMDdiI4JQumgUgjbow-QIv4HTM6CW_AlK2DSMfAD/s1600/101_1058.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493847053473998434" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjgWAjCjvDHKMpDXTGMXAtxY83YaDgY5K2ThDHdoe28Mc_Plxgfc2JStgeUzTfeCO3xmIfyNtx3YFr5jjW43W0uJwmwti94JPvzHehCTMDdiI4JQumgUgjbow-QIv4HTM6CW_AlK2DSMfAD/s400/101_1058.JPG" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj12LpBjGwEFFEBl2d5VySMYIlHDfH7udxRJ72Hp5biw7_FdaeetEsQydF2qiQjdIDO6ujBhPUhwqQ4N8hqbrgTv871hy9MKpoZUnbl1O_wHji75cM7q9cke3YrZ3ENKH5OEtHK7WxzmC-r/s1600/101_1071.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493935265937485154" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj12LpBjGwEFFEBl2d5VySMYIlHDfH7udxRJ72Hp5biw7_FdaeetEsQydF2qiQjdIDO6ujBhPUhwqQ4N8hqbrgTv871hy9MKpoZUnbl1O_wHji75cM7q9cke3YrZ3ENKH5OEtHK7WxzmC-r/s400/101_1071.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />I did a lot of paper piecing ( and a bit of stamping ) on the sailboat card which i made as an entry for <a href="http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.com/2010/07/challenge-120-schools-out-for-summer.html">The cute card thursday challenge 20 schools out. </a> It has to be summer themed.<br />Ugh...i have a real love/hate relationship with this one. I had it pictured in my head but it just wasn't working out that way. I should have taken a before picture. It was in the laundry room, in the basement. My DH felt it didn't nuture any creativity so he helped move it into our dining room. Our dining room is simply too narrow to be used for that but perfect to be used for scrapping :)<br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXUbwYKTrA1k-uN7IhmYxZEnZ3JArgTsZ295pWlFfDP3-6c9GVIMusD7iMVr2Hm_u20TjlTog3s38hexjHsfczC_h60CGwy7RAph6Mb2tAMW_DSxWQ2srDWESkPu0gJLjjnZ-Gp8pLs8vL/s1600/101_1056.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5493465974218322834" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXUbwYKTrA1k-uN7IhmYxZEnZ3JArgTsZ295pWlFfDP3-6c9GVIMusD7iMVr2Hm_u20TjlTog3s38hexjHsfczC_h60CGwy7RAph6Mb2tAMW_DSxWQ2srDWESkPu0gJLjjnZ-Gp8pLs8vL/s400/101_1056.JPG" /></a> These were my first two creations. The first picture is an altered canvas. I really felt i needed some wallart.</div><div>The second is a card i made for a friend visiting from mexico city. He wanted a special card that he could write a note in for his girl back home. With such a sweet request..how could i say no????</div><div>The flower is from a stamp company called "outlines". They're so great for layering and such.</div><div>Anyway, thanks for checking out the newest projects....and hopefully my next post won't be too far away :)</div><div>Stay crafty :)<br /><br /></div><div></div>Cass.http://www.blogger.com/profile/09352287052358741106noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1946415661665972740.post-54236432483977713832010-05-13T17:01:00.000-07:002010-05-13T17:08:55.330-07:00A little birdie told me<div>This is the card i made for<a href="http://theplaydatecafe.blogspot.com/"> The play date cafe challenge <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_0" class="blsp-spelling-error">pdcc</span>29.</a> </div><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpUhtKTdo-PXxW3Giz2NU4vamfGRPNn9RG7731ef1nY6yrX8P8OXU99gRQxb3DyM8oxMtNnv-XHmFx6y6U8qMuhagnoRykim3BK4BwE5OrtiiZ5yUgl8RoFdbQY3717GNEGu3iuE_VpY-6/s1600/101_0630.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 400px; HEIGHT: 300px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5470909826530376226" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpUhtKTdo-PXxW3Giz2NU4vamfGRPNn9RG7731ef1nY6yrX8P8OXU99gRQxb3DyM8oxMtNnv-XHmFx6y6U8qMuhagnoRykim3BK4BwE5OrtiiZ5yUgl8RoFdbQY3717GNEGu3iuE_VpY-6/s400/101_0630.JPG" /></a></div><div>My patterned papers were from <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_1" class="blsp-spelling-error">cosmo</span> cricket ( earth love ), and K& company ( <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_2" class="blsp-spelling-corrected">Que</span> <span id="SPELLING_ERROR_3" class="blsp-spelling-error">sera</span> ). Happy anniversary sweetie. This is the card i made for my DH for our special day. I used my EK success five petal flower punch ( i have no idea what the actual name of the thing is ) and bazzil cardstock for the base. I used my cricut with the storybook cartridge to make the frame and outlined it with my white gel pen from Ranger. The patterned paper was from a pack i got at Walmart a few years ago. I'm sorry...i don't remember the name. I really should start labelling things huh?<br />Thanks for looking...have a great week :)Cass.http://www.blogger.com/profile/09352287052358741106noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1946415661665972740.post-28034347876875875852010-05-10T12:26:00.000-07:002010-05-10T12:30:50.539-07:00I love you<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7KBF-fyX1qouSuw0UoXdp6jwplTvPKq2RU5ZbbRRNIpTZzND-zV4ZvIPVhvboUg739ER7Bt7WRy3fwnD_WrrkdMNejQVcA7msZb0pLMFxrLY050I6QxF83Ph6U5XYeYKgecbnLOQSjXyQ/s1600/101_0612.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 300px; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469725267691942274" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7KBF-fyX1qouSuw0UoXdp6jwplTvPKq2RU5ZbbRRNIpTZzND-zV4ZvIPVhvboUg739ER7Bt7WRy3fwnD_WrrkdMNejQVcA7msZb0pLMFxrLY050I6QxF83Ph6U5XYeYKgecbnLOQSjXyQ/s400/101_0612.JPG" /></a> I love the look of corrugated cardboard on any project. Has such great texture, so i had to try it for myself. I used "bay leaf" acrylic paint by folk art and dry brushed it on then ran my tim holtz brushed corduroy over top. The lollipop flowers are made from scraps and the stamp is from hero arts...i think.<br />Thanks for looking...have a great week!Cass.http://www.blogger.com/profile/09352287052358741106noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1946415661665972740.post-62993145912367716632010-05-09T05:21:00.000-07:002010-05-09T05:26:40.143-07:00Anniversary card for friends<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUqrRh_8Ptz-3OiwXWRag9Vk0LEiXV7NRvgHNJHFAVwpF1EzO7XHwgfGvz3P382xtaFIOAGnB4u3GM7BBcrvc1P9unSfwcLYVkFQUXd82X9h73EBtUMNdkA0e5IgmglndCAMquyUZkk91m/s1600/101_0538.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 300px; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469244552989126786" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUqrRh_8Ptz-3OiwXWRag9Vk0LEiXV7NRvgHNJHFAVwpF1EzO7XHwgfGvz3P382xtaFIOAGnB4u3GM7BBcrvc1P9unSfwcLYVkFQUXd82X9h73EBtUMNdkA0e5IgmglndCAMquyUZkk91m/s400/101_0538.JPG" /></a> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLXEJPiSs2Ey9ByTkcywKv1kqXWwrHNhNQAyvvYUzqrIhbZmXuvXeG48_LUyX5-zhAQQet4ayUkASRKQqPqg_e_u61SVi1baA4fPbsWOjf6t01zZJgjSPiwxx2SuPAsUzY8S5iTMIbCXkI/s1600/101_0539.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 300px; HEIGHT: 400px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5469245322913618226" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhLXEJPiSs2Ey9ByTkcywKv1kqXWwrHNhNQAyvvYUzqrIhbZmXuvXeG48_LUyX5-zhAQQet4ayUkASRKQqPqg_e_u61SVi1baA4fPbsWOjf6t01zZJgjSPiwxx2SuPAsUzY8S5iTMIbCXkI/s400/101_0539.JPG" /></a><br /><br /><div>I wanted to quickly post the card i made for some friends yesterday. Once again i joined the girls at Stamptv. First was a sketch challenge which you can find <a href="http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/thursday-sketch-challenge-11">here</a>. I made my first card using the Que sera collection, Martha Stewart ribbons, my cuttlebug and cricut. <br /><br /> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqi7EpafRgoAKt8C0bWIS1uRp3_OWPgulemZgJJxc4vlkthPFVaFQzLliYSs6PE49aDniSpaBipkpbcHM7MuHcqVYHpSU0vMrxSp1BUuu6w_RjJGs9OR74F_uTRZbaxeSd49UsXtxjaeu6/s1600/101_0532.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 334px; HEIGHT: 320px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467775007628208018" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqi7EpafRgoAKt8C0bWIS1uRp3_OWPgulemZgJJxc4vlkthPFVaFQzLliYSs6PE49aDniSpaBipkpbcHM7MuHcqVYHpSU0vMrxSp1BUuu6w_RjJGs9OR74F_uTRZbaxeSd49UsXtxjaeu6/s400/101_0532.JPG" /></a>Secondly was a challenge found <a href="http://stamptv.ning.com/forum/topics/tuesday-anything-but-a-card-1">here</a> for a tea bag holder. Once again i used the Que sera collection. I'm in love with this paper...can you tell??? Martha Stewart doily punch and a couple brads. The image is a stamp i have from studio G, and the sentiment from SU!.<br /><br /><br /> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRaAqLNfVgpaAmAVxJeAdWUuUtwOC1M9lfy_AKqpiRjLQUkfghdYI27IWcTyCAr1L0_6Ec8tQnOfTdjTnqNkAoDdah777ZuMMidbcRe10VivI_d8fgPS0Nu1TZg0WdZBCbfwv0CI9ihjQb/s1600/101_0537.JPG"><img style="WIDTH: 330px; HEIGHT: 265px; CURSOR: hand" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5467775164708152082" border="0" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRaAqLNfVgpaAmAVxJeAdWUuUtwOC1M9lfy_AKqpiRjLQUkfghdYI27IWcTyCAr1L0_6Ec8tQnOfTdjTnqNkAoDdah777ZuMMidbcRe10VivI_d8fgPS0Nu1TZg0WdZBCbfwv0CI9ihjQb/s400/101_0537.JPG" /></a><br />Here's a quick view of the inside.
